How does CBD Hemp Oil work?
You and your pet are more alike than you may think!
Your pet, like us, has specific cannabinoid receptors in their brain and central nervous systems that come together as the “endocannabinoid system” (ECS). CBD Hemp Oil activates the endocannabinoid system (ECS) in you as well as your furry little family.
THE BARK DOWN
To break it down, the ECS is involved in almost every system in their body. Think of the common issues you may experience, such as cardiovascular, digestion, relaxation, and cognition and memory. Then look at your pet and go behind the fur—they’re experiencing those same discomforts too!
RECEPTORS = PUPCEPTORS
The ECS is controlled by receptors, which scientists call the CB1 and CB2 receptors.
CBD works directly with the ECS system by “antagonizing” (or barking at) the CB1 and CB2 receptors. CB1 receptors are one of the most abundant receptors in the brain and are found in almost every neuron in every body, both hairy pets and hairy people. CB2 receptors are found almost exclusively in the immune system—the part that keeps us all healthy.

PAWS FOR CBD
Cannabidiol (CBD) and related cannabinoids found in the hemp plant are the only compounds that work with these receptors naturally. According to scientists, this means that all bodies (again, inlcuding your furry little one) have evolved from the Jurassic bark period to require CBD in order to function and work at optimal levels of health.
PURRRFECT STUDIES
Recent clinical studies have shown that CBD holds many beneficial properties, and new research is unfolding every day.
